Luiza Trindade is a journalist, filmmaker and screenwriter from Brazil. Her first documentary is Adelante- The struggle of Venezuelan refugees in Brazil (2020, July 20), a co-production with Celina, from newspaper O Globo. Adelante was finalist at the Lift Off Global Network and Sinédoque festivals. The documentary was on display for a month at the Immigration Museum in São Paulo (2021, May) and at the Museum of Justice in Rio de Janeiro (2022, June), also for a month.
Still addressing this theme, she made a short documentary of an artistic workshop with the support of NGO PARES Cáritas and UNHCR. The film was exhibit at SESC Madureira for a month in 2019.
Luiza worked as an assistant director for products from channels such as Netflix, Porta dos Fundos, Gloob, Game XP, among others.
She also directed and scripted the video clip
