Amora Moreira is a 28-year-old visual artist and graffiti writer from the suburbs of Rio de Janeiro. Raised in a household that nurtured her creativity, it was the Hip Hop movement that gave her a deeper sense of belonging and a language that felt like home.
Graffiti started as a necessity. With no studio space during art school, the street became the only canvas available. She found something bigger in her practice: an evolving conversation with the city, and with her people.
Her characters carry everyday references. Her lines speak to new futures. And every wall she paints is a question about who gets seen and where.
