The Tomie Ohtake Institute hosts the Tomie Ohtake Territories Award every year. In 2023, I was invited to direct, script and research the project “Inspirations for good living: decolonizing the gaze”, which emerged as part of a Hospital Pedagogy Program.

The project includes workshops, literature, a vegetable garden, conversation circles, among other activities that arise from a spontaneous dynamic in everyday hospital life.

The purpose is to debate sexism, racism and the historical and cultural erasure of indigenous and African peoples through these activities proposed to the children.
